Where is my data stored? Is it uploaded?
Everything stays on this phone; the app has no server. Only the lottery number update and the whiteboard AI you start yourself go online.
Does my data move to a new phone?
There is no cloud sync. Data may be included in your own iCloud or computer backup, depending on iOS settings. Export important documents first.
Why is the exported PDF searchable?
On-device text recognition adds an invisible text layer over the image, so the page looks like the original but text can be searched and copied.
The Word file lost its layout?
Word contains only the recognised plain text, without images or layout. Use PDF to keep the layout.
My signature disappeared?
If you change the correction effect after placing a signature, the page is rebuilt from the original scan and the signature is lost. Choose the effect first, then sign.
Translation says iOS 18 is required?
Document translation needs iOS 18. Traditional ⇄ Simplified Chinese is not restricted.
Do I have to sign in?
No. The app opens on the home screen and you can scan right away. Signing in is needed only for Documents, Expenses, Contacts and Me.
How do I restore Pro on a new phone?
Use Restore Purchase on the Pro screen or in Me → Pro, with the same Apple ID.
